AMM Regular Meeting
November 1, 1988
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held November 1, 1988 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
to notice as prescribed by law.
Roll Call --
Present Absent
Benson, Gladys Gordon, Barbara
Carlson-Foat, Virginia Spence, Terry
Little, Kathy
Navarre, Linda
Lovett, James
Staff: Pamela Loui, Library Director
1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion was made by Kathy Little and
seconded by Jim Lovett to accept the
agenda. Motion passed.
2. Acceptance of Minutes for
AMft
October 4, 1988 Regular
Meeting: Motion was made by Gladys Benson and
seconded by Kathy Little. Motion
passed.
3. Librarian Report: The librarian reviewed the October
statistics and went over future
programs.
4. Old Business:
a. Report on status of procedure
for collecting monies from
overdue materials• Motion was made by Linda Navarre and
seconded by Kathy Little to send a
letter to David Alexander prompting
him to send information to the Board.
Motion passed.
5. New Business:
a. Discussion on Library Open
House to be held in
conjunction with the City's
birthday: Library Director said that refreshments
would be furnished Monday, November 21,
by the Senior Center and Tuesday, November
22, by the Friends of the Library. A
questionnaire would be handed out to the
public both days.
