Regular Meeting
December 6, 1988
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held December 6, 1988 at 6: 10 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
to notice as prescribed by law.

Staff: Pamela Loui, Library Director
1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion was made by James Lovett and
seconded by Kathy Little to accept
— the agenda. Motion passed.
2. Acceptance of Minutes for
November 1, 1988 Regular
Meeting: Motion was made by James Lovett and
seconded by Linda Navarre. Motion
passed.
3. Librarian Report: The librarian reviewed the November
statistics and told about the Grant
from Friends of the Library that
helped buy the two hundred hours of
PBS Videos.
4. Old Business:
a. Status on attorney letter for
collecting monies from overdues
and damages: We received the two letters needed
regarding legal action for recovery of
overdue, damaged or lost material. Mr.
David Alexander is to be contacted
before sending them. Motion was made
by Linda Navarre and seconded by Terry
Spence to accept the letters as written.

5. New Business:
a. Discussion on upcoming election
for the home rule option: Librarian discussed home rule and
explained how important it will be
to help get it passed again.
b. Report on questionnaire
results: General discussion of answers and
percentages.
6. Call to the Public: None present.
7. Requests for future agenda
items: None suggested.
8. Adjournment: Adjournment at 7:00 p.m.
