Regular Meeting
February 7, 1989
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held February 7, 1989 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
to notice as prescribed by law.

1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion was made by Linda Navarre and
seconded by Terry Spence to accept the
agenda. Motion passed.
... 2. Acceptance of Minutes for
December 6, 1988 Regular
Meeting• Motion was made by Linda Navarre and
seconded by Terry Spence. Motion
passed.
3. Librarian Report: The librarian reviewed the December
1988 - January 1989 monthly reports
and quarterly work plan.
4. Old Business:
a. Upcoming election for
home rule option: The librarian told how the library
will be affected if home rule doesn't
pass. Received a fact sheet.
5. New Business:
a. Proposed LSCA Grant for
Project CARE: The librarian explained Project CARE.
b. Report on terms which
expire 6/30/89: Terry Spence and Linda Navarre's terms
expire 6/30/89.
c. Report on PBS videos: The PBS videos are in and are being
processed.

d. Parking lot update: Report on progress being made in
obtaining land for additional parking.
The librarian read a letter stating
the value of the land.

7. Requests for future agenda
items: None suggested.
