A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held October 3, 1989 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
to notice as prescribed by law.

1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion was made by Kathy Little and
seconded by Barbara Gordon to accept
the agenda. Motion passed.
.... 2. Acceptance of Minutes for
September 5, 1989 Regular
Meeting: Motion was made by Paul Marshall and
seconded by Kathy Little. Motion
passed.
3. Librarian Report: Apache Junction has the only instal-
lation of the Intelligent Catalog in
Arizona. New shelving is due to be
shipped October 18 and possibly installed
by November. The library will have a
book review column in the Winter Visitor
Independent.
4. Old Business:
a. Discussion of the Library
Trustees Handbook: Postponed until the next regular meeting.
5. New Business:
a. Discussion on possibility
of using a collection agency
to retrieve overdue materials: Discussion of possible use of collection
agency. More information is needed.
b. Report on new C.A.C. library: Library at C.A.C. is a part-time
library with a room devoted to it.
Suggestion to have their librarian
start an interlibrary loan program
within the college.

c. Interlibrary loan fee of
25G (postage) : Interlibrary loan fee of 25C per
item established as a reimbursement
for postage.
