Regular Meeting
February 6, 1990
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held February 6, 1990 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
to notice as prescribed by law.
Roll Call --
Present Absent
Benson, Gladys
Carlson-Foat, Virginia
Gordon, Barbara
Marshall, Paul
Palmer, Randy
Lovett, James
Staff: Pamela Loui, Library Director
1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion was made by Virginia Carlson-
Foat and seconded by Randy Palmer to
accept the agenda by moving item 5a.
Review of talent bank applications
AM. before item 2. Roll call vote taken
with all in favor. Motion was made
by Virginia Carlson-Foat and seconded
by Barbara Gordon to recommend to City
Council to appoint Mary Ann Webb to
the Library Board. It was unanimous.
2. Acceptance of Minutes for
November 7, 1989 Regular
Meeting: Motion was made by Virginia Carlson-
Foat and seconded by Randy Palmer.
Motion passed.
3. Librarian's Report: Possibility of an expanded parking lot
where Animal Control used to be.
Temporary hold on book buying until
County money comes in. C.A.C. library
now provides some community college
courses for students, giving the public
library a place to send students request-
ing them.
4. Old Business:
a. Discussion on the Library
Inft Trustees Handbook: Barbara Gordon moved to postpone
discussion of trustees handbook.
Seconded by Virginia Carlson-Foat.
Will be placed on future agenda when
full Board is seated

6/30/90: Librarian named Board Members whose
terms expire.
