Synopsis
Election of Vice -Chairman -Diana Dunlop
Minutes dated October 12,1983 -approved as read
1.Chairman opened the meeting and asked the recording
secretary to call the roll.

called the -roll and determined that five
.members were present with one absent as
:noted above.She informed the Board that
Mr.Berry was out of town.
called for nominations for Vice -Chairman.
nominated.Mrs.Luddy.
explained that she was resigning the position
of Vice -Chairman due to health reasons and
did not wish to be nominated.
6.Mr.Morrison withdrew the nomination and nominated M
Carter.
7.Mr.Carter declined the nomination,due to his juniority
on the Board and lack of experience.He
suggested that Mrs.Luddy's resignation be
accepted at the close of the meeting.
8.Chairman passed the gavel to Mr.Nakagawa.
9.Luddy/Carter M/S "I hereby nominate Mrs.Dunlop to the
position of Vice -Chairman on the Board of
Adjustment."
The motion passed unanimously (5-0 0).
10.Mr.Nakagawa.passed the gavel to Mrs.Dunlop who presided
over the'balance of the meeting.

asked i f there -were any additions,correction ,
or deletions to the Agenda dated November 14,
1983;there were none.She then called for
a notion.
MIS "BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of -Adjustment
of the City ,of Apache Junction,Arizona, that
the AgendaAated November 14,1983,be accepted
as presented."
The motion -passed unanimously (5-0,0).

a motion.

the Minutes dated _October 12,1983,be
accepted as read."
The motion passed 3-0-2,with Mr.GardoM and
Mrs.Luddy abstaining.
there being no, further business,called for
a motion to,adjourn.

a brief discussion on the duties of -Vice-
Chairman occurred.
The meeting adjourned at .7:10 p.m.
