opened the meeting and asked for nominations
for Acting Chairman.
M/S to nominate Sam Gardom as acting
Chairman of the Board of Adjustment.
The motion passed 3-0-1,with Mr.Gardom
abstaining.
turned the gavel over to Mr.Gardom.
called for nominations of Vice -Chairman.
M/S "I hereby nominate Mr.Gardom :to the
position of Vice -Chairman of the Board of
adjustment."
The motion passed unanimously (3-07 0).
asked if there were any additions,corrections,
or deletions to the Agenda dated January
9,1984;there were .none.He then called for
a motion.
M/S "BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Adjustment
of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona,that
the Agenda dated January 9,1984,be accepted
as presented."
The motion passed unanimously (4-0-0).

12,1983;there were none.He then called
for a motion,
M/S "BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Adjustment
of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona,that
the Minutes dated December 12,1983,be
accepted as read."

stated the next item on the Agenda was
BA -34-79 (Pihajlic/Vader)permit renewal.
explained that little in the way of circumstances
has changed since the last hearing on this
matter and the terms of the permit have been
complied with.The father,John Pihajlic,
still needs occasional medical attention and
his daughter,Anne Vader,takes care of his
day-to-day household needs.

explained that her father still needed care
and she takes care of all his needs.
asked i f there was any more discussion;there
was none.He then called for a motion.
"BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Adjustment of
the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that
a nine -month renewable,and revocable permit
be granted to the applicants in case BA -34-79,
as a renewal to the permit issued on August
21,1979,to permit two mobile home units on
the subject property.The Board is authorized
to grant such a permit by Section 2403(h)of
the City's Zoning Ordinance.
The following conditions are imposed upon
the temporary permit:
1.Only the father will occupy the second
unit.
2.This permit shall become null and void
upon the sale,lease,or rental of the
subject property.
3.The applicant shall,by September 1,1984,
submit a letter requesting a renewal
of this permit along with a letter from
the father's physician attesting to the
need for the daughter to attend to
the father's living needs.
4.The applicant shall,by September 1,
1984,submit a list of property owners
within 300 feet of the subject property
from Pinal County's most recent Tax
Assessor's maps and tax rolls.
5.This permit expires on October 21,1984,
unless renewed prior to that date.
The Board bases its decision on the following
reasons.
1.The conditions of the original permit
have been complied with.
2.The applicant has demonstrated the
need for a permit renewal."
The motion passed unanimously (5-0).
there being no further business,the meeting
adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
