RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT MONTH
APRIL 2026
WHEREAS, effective Records and Information Management (RIM) is crucial for
the efficient and transparent operation of government and
organizations; and
WHEREAS, proper record-keeping ensures accountability, protects legal and
financial rights, and supports informed decision-making; and
WHEREAS, the efficient management of information assets is essential for
organizational success and public trust; and
WHEREAS, April is recognized internationally as Records and Information
Management (RIM) Month.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Walter"Chip" Wilson, Mayor of the City of Apache Junction,
