Subject: Streetlight Imprvement District process
The creation of Streetlight Improvement Disctricts "SLIDs" is a means whereby the expenses of
the SLID are paid by the levy and collection of taxes based on the number of properties within
the SLID.
It has been more than 14 years since a SLID was created here in the city. This presentation will
summarize the proposed process staff will finalize and utilize in the future for the creation of
these districts.
