HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD79ORDINANCE NO.79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA AMENDING SECTION 8-5-4 SCHEDULE OF THE CITY CODE; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. SECTION III All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance or any part of the City Code adopted herein by reference, are hereby repealed. SECTION IV I t is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the sections,paragraphs,sentences,clauses,and phrases of this Ordinance shall be severable,and i f any provision of this Ordinance is held unconsti- tutional for any reason by a Court of competent jurisdiction,such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of the Ordinance. SECTION V I t is necessary for the preservation of peace,health,and safety of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that this Ordinance become effective immediately,an emergency is hereby declared to exist,and this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage and adoption. SECCION IV Por la presente se declara que la intencidn del Concejo Municipal es que las secciones,los p4rrafos,las ,frases,y las oraciones deoendientes sean separados,y si cualquiera provision de esta Ordenanza sea d9terminada inconstitucional por cualquiera razdn por una Corte de jurisdiccion competente, tal provisign inconstitucional no afectar6 ninguna otra provision de esta Ordenanza. SECCION V Para mantener la paz,salud,y seguridad de la Ciudad de Apache Junction, Arizona,esta Ordenanza debe hacerse ef,ectivo inmediatamente,se declara una emergencia,y esta Ordenanza se hara efectivo inmediatamente al ser pasado y adoptado.
