AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, AMENDING SECTION
2001, SUBSECTION (e) (11) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE; REPEALING ANY CON-
FLICTING PROVISIONS: PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND DECLARING AN EMER-
GENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:The Zoning Ordinance, Section 2001, Subsection (e) (11),
shall be amended to read as follows:
"11.The mobile home or travel trailer park shall be screened
around its periphery except for gates or access ways by a solid
wall or fence of not less than five (5') nor more than six (6')
feet of height, measured on the fence outside of the park."
Section 2:All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein
by reference, are hereby repealed.
Section 3:If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein
by reference, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional
by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.
Section 4:Whereas, it is necessary for the preservation of the peace,
health and safety of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona, an emer-
gency is declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become immediately
operative and in force from and after the date of posting hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
Apache Junction, Arizona, this 16th day of January 1980.
