AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING CHAPTER 2,ARTICLE 2-4,
SECTION 2-4-1,REGULAR MEETING,OF THE APACHE JUNCTION CITY
CODE,BY AMENDING THE REGULAR MEETING DAYS OF THE APACHE
JUNCTION CITY COUNCIL;PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CON-
FLICTING ORDINANCES;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.IN GENERAL
That Section 2-4-1 be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2-4-1 Regular Meetings
The council shall hold regular meetings on the first and
third Tuesdays of each month at seven o'clock p.m.,providino
that when the day fixed for any regular meeting of the council
falls upon a day designated by law as a legal holiday,such
meeting shall be held at the same hour on the next suceeding day
not a holiday.All regular meetings of the City Council shall
be held in the Apache Junction City Hall Complex,1001 North
Idaho Road,Apache Junction,Arizona.
SECTION II.REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance or any part of the Code adopted herein
by reference,are hereby repealed.
SECTION III.PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
If any section,sub -section,sentence,clause,phrase or portion
of this Ordinance or any part of the Code adopted herein by reference
is,for any reason,held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the
decision of any court of competent jurisdiction,such decisions shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance.

OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 2ND DAY OF DECEMBER ,1981.
