AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING
ORDINANCE BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-25-81 FROM CR-1 SINGLE RESIDENCE
ZONE TO CB -1 LOCAL BUSINESS ZONE;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PRO-
VISIONS;PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;AND PROVIDING PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Apache Junction,Arizona,
Zoning Map for the parcel of land described as:
the West of the Northwest 4 of the Northeast i of the Northwest
of Section 15,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt
River Base and Meridian,located in Apache Junction,Pinal County,
Arizona;EXCEPT that portion southeast of the centerline of State
Route 88
be and hereby is amended by changing the zoning district classification
from CR-1 Single Residence zone to CB -1 Local Business zone.
SECTION I I REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference
are hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for
any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions thereof.
SECTION IV PENALTY CLAUSE
Any person found guilty of violating any provisions of this ordinance
shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment for
a period not to exceed six (6)months,or by both such fine and impri-
sonment.Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense
punishable as hereinabove described.
