AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
PINAL COUNTY,ARIZONA,AMENDING "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,VOLUME II,LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE,CHAPTER 1,ZONING ORDINANCE,"
BY ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS 20.02.10 AND 20.04.11 RELATING TO MINIMUM
STANDARDS FOR PRIVATE ROADWAY SURFACES IN A MOBILE HOME OR RECREATIONAL
VEHICLE PARK;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY;AND PROVIDING PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
1."The Code of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,Volume II,Land
Development Code,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance,"shall be amended by
adding new Subsection 20.02.10 Relating to Minimum Standards for
Private Roadway Surfaces in a Mobile Home Park to read as follows:
"10.Private or interior roadway surfaces in a mobile home park
shall be at least a minimum width of twenty-eight (28')feet
with minimum turning radii of twenty-two (22')feet."
2."The Code of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,Volume II,Land
Development Code,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance,"shall be amended by
adding new Subsection 20.04.11 Relating to Minimum Standards for
Private Roadway Surfaces in a Recreational Vehicle Park to read as
follows:
"11.Private or interior roadway surfaces in a recreational vehicle
park shall be at least a minimum width of twenty-eight (28')
feet with minimum turning radii of twenty-two (22')feet."
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance,or any part of the code adopted herein by reference,are
hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause,or portion of this
Ordinance,or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is,for any
reason,held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portions thereof.
SECTION IV PENALTY CLAUSE
Any person found guilty of violating any provision of this Ordinance,shall
be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000.00 or imprisonment for a period
not to exceed six (6)months,or by both such fine and imprisonment.Each
day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense punishable as
hereinabove described.
