AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA ZONING ORDINANCE BY AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING
CASE PZ-46-84 FROM GR GENERAL RURAL TO CB -2 GENERAL BUSINESS ZONE;
REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Apache Junction,Arizona,Zoning
Map for the parcels of land described as:
Parcel No.1:
The north 200 feet of that part of the Northwest A of Section 19,
Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona,described as
follows:
Beginning at a point 600 feet west of the southwest corner of
the Northwest A of Section 19;thence west 900 feet on the south
line of the Northwest A;thence north parallel to the east line
of the Northwest A,a distance of 650 feet;thence east parallel
to the south line of the Northwest A,900 feet;thence south
parallel to the east line of the Northwest A,650 feet to the
point of beginning;EXCEPT the east 200 feet thereof;and EXCEPT
that portion of said land included within the right-of-way of
Highway 60-70-80-89.
Parcel No.2:
The north 200 feet of part of the Northwest A of Section 19,
Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona,described as
follows:
The north 210 feet of the east 200 feet of the following property:
Beginning at a point 600 feet west of the southeast corner of the
Northwest A of Section 19;thence west 900 feet on the south line
of the Northwest A;thence north parallel to the east line of the
Northwest A,a distance of 650 feet;thence east parallel to the
south line of the Northwest A,900 feet;thence south parallel
to the east line of the Northwest A,650 feet to the point of
beginning;
be and hereby is amended by changing the zoning district classification
from GR General Rural to CB -2 General Business Zone;subject to the
stipulation that a solid masonry wall be placed along the northern
boundary of this property as i t is developed.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this Ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference,
are hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause,or portion of this
Ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for
any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions thereof.
