SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 13, 1979
A Special Meeting of the City Council of Apache Junction was held on the
13th day of November, 1979 at the Apache Junction City Hall, pursuant to the
notice as required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Vice -Mayor Granillo called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. at the
Apache Junction City Hall.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilman Norman Hill led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Councilmembers Present:Vice -Mayor John Granillo
Councilmen Thomas Damiano, Marie Shanks,
and Norman Hill
Councilmembers Absent:Mayor Virginia Seeman, Councilmen Jerry Burgess
and Jimmy Eidson

ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGENDA

No action taken.
RESOLUTION NO. 79-43
City Attorney Curtis
reported on the proposed Resolution, noting that the seven people listed as
the initial Board of Directors are being appointed and not elected and that
they shall serve until their successors are elected and suggested that the Council
may wish to set up another meeting within 30 days for the purpose of electing
the first Board of Directors and setting their terms.
Councilman Shanks
MOVED that Resolution No. 79-43, a Resolution of the City of Apache Junction,
Pinal County, Arizona, amending Resolution No. 79-42, regarding the incorporation
of an Industrial Development Authority for the City of Apache Junction.
seconded the motion.
VOTE:UNANIMOUS
Motion carried.

Damiano MOVED to adjourn the meeting.
