AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-71-85 FROM 0 GENERAL RURAL TO
CI -1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND FROM GR GENERAL RURAL TO C-2 LOCAL COMMERCIAL;
REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as:
(General Rural GR to CI -1)
That portion of the South of the Southeast of the Southwest
of the Northwest lying South of the Highway 60 right-of-way;
and the South of the Southwest i of the Southwest of the Northwest
i except that portion within the Highway 60 right-of-way.
(General Rural GR to Local Commercial C-2)
That portion of -the South of the Southeast of the Southwest
of the Northwest lying North of the Highway 60 right-of-way
in Section 27,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River
Base and Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona
be and hereby is amended from GR General Rural to CI -1 Light Industrial and
from GR General Rural to C-2 Local Commercial;subject to the following stipula-
tion:Applicant dedicate the North and East thirty-three feet (33')along
with a twenty foot (20')by twenty foot (20')cutoff at the intersection
of East 15th Avenue and South Wickiup Road of that portion of the rezoning
request lying North of the Highway 60 right-of-way.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
Ordinance or any part of the coe adopted herein by reference is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portion thereof.
