AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN RE2ONING CASE PZ-22-86 FROM CR-3 SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE TO C-3 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVI-
SIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as:
That part of Tract A,PALM SPRINGS,according to the records of
Pinal County,Arizona,as recorded i n Book 7 of Maps,page 27,more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of said Tract "A";thence North
54 degrees 52 minutes 38 seconds West along the southerly right-of-way
of the State Highways 60,70,80,and 89 a distance of 190 feet;
thence South 0 degrees 30 seconds West,200 feet;thence South 54
degrees 52 minutes 18 seconds East 190 feet to a point on the West
line of an alley;thence North 0 degrees 30 seconds East along said
alley line 200 feet to the point of beginning i n Section 28,Township
1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Apache
Junction,Pinal County,Arizona
be and hereby i s amended from CR-3 Single Family Residence to C-3 General
Commercial District subject to the following stipulation:a six foot (6')
masonry wall or screening fence as required by Section 16.0505 and Section
16.0509 of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances i n conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference i s for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portion thereof.
