SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 19, 2006
The special meeting of the City Council of the City of
Apache Junction, Arizona, was held on June 19, 2006, at the
Apache Junction City Council Chambers pursuant to the notice
required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Coleman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

DISCUSSION ON FINAL BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007
)City Manager George
Hoffman briefed the council on the item.He stated he had
nothing to add from the last meeting.He asked Mr. Lewis if he
had anything to add.
Finance Director Keith Lewis
stated he did not.
Mayor Coleman opened the item
to council discussion.There being no discussion, he moved on
to the next item.
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED FINAL
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 )
)Mayor Coleman opened the
public hearing on the item.There being no one wishing to
speak, he closed the public hearing and moved on to the next
item.
RESOLUTION NO. 06-25, ADOPTION OF
FINAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-
2007 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
)Mayor Coleman opened the
item to council discussion.There being no comments, he closed
the discussion and called for a motion.
Councilmember Dietz MOVED
THAT RESOLUTION NO. 06-25, A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, FULLY ADOPTING
ESTIMATES OF EXPENDITURES BY THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2006, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2007,
DECLARING ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
BE APPROVED.
Councilmember Waldron
SECONDED THE MOTION.

VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 06-26, DECLARING AS
A PUBLIC RECORD AND ADOPTING
"CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2006-2007" AND "COMPENSATION
PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007" AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Mayor Coleman opened the
item to council discussion.There being no comments, he closed
the discussion and called for a motion.
Councilmember Waldron MOVED
THAT RESOLUTION NO. 06-26, A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, DECLARING AS A
PUBLIC RECORD AND ADOPTING CERTAIN DOCUMENTS FILED WITH THE CITY
CLERK ENTITLED "THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-
2007" AND "THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007"; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, BE APPROVED.
Councilmember Dietz SECONDED
THE MOTION.
VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
