SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 27,2003
The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,was held on May 27,2003.at the Apache Junction City Council
Chambers pursuant to the notice required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Coleman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

happened during the actual audit and they had gotten the contract and then
could not fulfill it or i t kept getting delayed.She wants to make sure

personnel issues would not interfere with our timeline.She suggested i f
there is no other equitable group recommended by the advisory team,that they
should go with the group that has been interviewed for the audit.They had
all the essential qualifications and manpower to do the job.

FORWARD IN SEEKING ANOTHER INTERVIEW DATE WITH BURACKER & ASSOCIATES SO THAT
WE CAN ASK THE ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS.
Councilmember Eck SECONDED THE
MOTION.
VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
There was general discussion on the
date for the interview.There was general consensus that the ideal date would
be June 10.

Councilmember Dietz SECONDED THE
MOTION.
VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
Mayor Coleman adjourned the meeting
at 6:07 p.m.
