AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-24-86 FROM GR GENERAL RURAL TO
C-2 LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as:
Lot 6 i n Section 18,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt
River Base and Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona
be and hereby i s amended from GR General Rural to C-2 Local Commercial District
subject to the following stipulations:1)the applicant dedicate the North
fifty feet (50')and the West fifty feet (50')of the subject site for public
roadway and associated purposes along with a twenty foot (20.')by twenty
foot (20')cutoff at the intersection of North Meridian and West Lost Dutchman
Boulevard;and 2)that a site plan be required at the time of development,
prior to construction,to be reviewed by the Development Coordinating Committee
and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances i n conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference i s for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portion thereof.
