AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY
AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING
THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-39-86 FROM GR GENERAL
RURAL TO C-3 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING
PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as:
The North two hundred feet (200')of the South 650 feet of
the Northwest quarter of Section 19,Township I North,Range
8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Pinal County,
Arizona,
EXCEPT the East 2100 feet thereof;and
EXCEPT the following described property;BEGINNING AT THE INTER-
SECTION of the West line of said Section 19 and the North line
of U.S.Highway North 60-70-80-89 (Apache Trail);thence North
along the West line of said Section 19,300 feet;thence East
240 feet to a point;thence South 300 feet to the North right-
of-way of Apache Trail;thence West 240 feet along said highway
line to the point of beginning;
EXCEPT the West forty feet (40')for road purposes
be and hereby i s amended from GR General Rural to C-3 General Commercial
District subject to the following stipulations:1)applicant dedicate
the West fifty feet (50')of the subject property for public roadway and
associated purposes and 2)applicant be requested to submit a site plan
prior to development that will go to both the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are
hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
Ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference i s for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court
of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity
of the remaining portion thereof.
