HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD687ORDINANCE NO.687 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-8-89 FROM GR GENERAL RURAL TO CR-2(MH)SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE ZONE/MANUFACTURED HOUSING;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,THAT: SECTION I IN GENERAL The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as: The West thirty-three feet (33')and the North thirty-three feet (33')of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona;AND A portion of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18 further described as: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18;thence East along the North line of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18,a distance of fifty-three feet (53')to a point;thence South along a line parallel to and fifty-three feet (53')distant to the West line of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18,a distance of thirty-three feet (33')to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;thence West along a line parallel to and thirty-three feet (33')distant to the North line of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18,a distance of twenty feet (20')to a point;thence South along a line parallel to and thirty-three feet (33')distant to the West line of the North half of the West half of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18,a distance of twenty feet (20')to a point;thence proceeding in a Northeasterly direction to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. ORDINANCE NO.687 PAGE ONE OF TWO be and hereby is amended from GR General Rural to CR-2(MH)Single Family Residence Zone/Manufactured Housing;subject to the following stipulations: 1.Dedication of the North and West thirty-three feet (33')of the subject site,AND a twenty -foot by twenty -foot (20'x20')corner cutoff on the Northwest corner of the subject site for roadway and associated purposes. SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby repealed. SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion thereof.
