AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-6-88 FROM GR GENERAL RURAL TO C-2
LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,for the parcels of land described as:
Lot twenty-five (25),Block three (3),Newtown,according to the plat of
record i n the Office of the County Recorder of Pinal County,Arizona,i n
Book 5 of Maps,Page 23.
be and hereby i s amended from GR General Rural to C-2 Local Commercial
District;subject to the following stipulations:
1.Landscape and buffering plans be approved prior to any commercial use or
development of the site.
2.Dedication of the East seventeen feet (17')of the subject property for
public roadway and associated purposes.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.

SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference i s for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of the court of
competent jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portion thereof.
