AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTIO,
ARIZONA,ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING THE ZONING DIST'CT
MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE INING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN REZONING CASE PZ-15-05 ROM GR
(GENERAL RURAL)TO C-2/PD (LOCAL COMMERCIAL ZONE :PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT)AND CR-5/PD (MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESID ,CE ZONE BY
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT);REPEALING ANY CONFLICTI PROVISIONS;
AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.

WHEREAS,on August 23,2005,the Apache Jd nction Planning and
Zoning Commission,voted 5 to 1 to recommend proval of the request
for rezoning,Case PZ-15-05,to change the , ning district classifi --
cation from GR to C-2/PD and CR-5/PD;and
—WHEREAS,the Commission's recomme,p6ation onnYns specific
conditions which the City Council hereby determi Alto provide greater
flexibility in site design,pedestriah,and yck tive traffic

WHEREAS,the City Council h -t -by determines that the proposed

SECTION I:IN GENERAL
The zoning diytrict classification on the Zoning District Map,City of
Apache JunctAn,Arizona,for the parcel of land legally described as:

according to the plat of record,inyhe office of

SECTION II:REPEALING ANY CONFLICTAG PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordAnces in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby Vpealed.
SECTION III:PROVIDING FOR(SEVERABILITY
If any section,subsec on,sentence phrase clause or portion of this
ordinance,or any par of the code adopted herein by reference,is for
any reason held to e invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of comp ent jurisdiqion,such decision shall not affect the
validity of the emaining porttns thereof.
