AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION CITY
CODE,CHAPTER 6 ANIMALS,ARTICLE 6-1 RULES AND REGULATIONS,
SECTION 6-1-6 ANIMAL KENNELS;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING
PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
That the Apache Junction City Code Chapter 6 Animals,Article 6-1 Rules and
Regulations,Section 6-1-6 Animal Kennels,Subsection D,be amended to read as
follows:
D.I t shall be the duty of the owner of the kennel to pay the applicable
kennel fee on or before the first day of February of each year,or upon
establishing a kennel in the City of Apache Junction.Such kennel fee
shall be paid to the City Animal Control Officer.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,subsection,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is,for any
reason,held to be invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions thereof.
