AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING PROVISIONS OF THE TRANSITIONAL (TR)ZONE,GENERAL BUSINESS
(CB -2)ZONE AND THE GENERAL COMMERCIAL (C-3)DISTRICT OF THE APACHE JUNCTION.
ARIZONA.ZONING ORDINANCE,TO PERMIT CART VENDORS IN THOSE DISTRICTS;REPEALING
ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
A.Paragraph k is added to Section 15.0701 (TR:Transitional Zone)as
follows:
k.Cart Vendors:Persons who engage in the temporary selling or
displaying of food and beverages utilizing a cart.
B.The following use is added to Paragraph b of Section 16.0201 (CB -2:
General Business Zone)as follows:
Cart Vendors:Persons who engage in the temporary selling or
displaying of food and beverages utilizing a cart.
C.The following use is added to Paragraph 3 of Section 16.0502 (C-3:General
Commercial District)as follows:
Cart Vendors:Persons who engage in the temporary selling or
displaying of food and beverages utilizing a cart.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.

SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portion thereof.
