AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION.ARIZONA ZONING ORDINANCE,BY AMENDING THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP,CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,CHANGING THE ZONING
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION IN CITY -INITIATED REZONING CASE PZ-10-91, APPLYING ZONING
CLASSIFICATIONS TO STATE AND FEDERAL LAND ANNEXED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO.803;
REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THAT:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
A.The zoning district classification on the Zoning District Map,City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,be and hereby is amended from the former Pinal
County GR (General Rural)zone to the City of Apache Junction zoning
classification of R1-43/PD (Single-family Residence by Planned
Development)zone for the following legally described territory:
Sections 7,8,9,and 10,EXCEPT the North fifty feet (50')thereof,
Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Pinal County,Arizona;AND
Section 11,EXCEPT the East fifty feet (50')and the North fifty feet
(50')of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter and EXCEPT the
North fifty feet (50')of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
and EXCEPT the East one-half of the Northwest quarter,and EXCEPT the West
one-half of the Northeast quarter and EXCEPT the East thirty feet (30')of
the West one-half of the Northwest quarter and EXCEPT the North forty feet
(40')of the East one-half of the Southwest quarter and EXCEPT the North
forty feet (40')of the West one-half of the Southeast quarter and EXCEPT
the West thirty feet (30')of the East one-half of the Northeast quarter
and EXCEPT the North forty feet (40')of the East thirty feet (30')of the

County General Business (CB -2)zone to the City of Apache Junction zoning
classification of General Commercial district by Planned Development
(C-3/PD)for the following legally described territory (Elks Lodge):
That portion of land which lies in the South half of the SW quarter of the
SE quarter and the SE quarter of the NW quarter of the SW quarter of the
SE quarter and the SE quarter of the SE quarter of the SW quarter of
Section 10,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona,more particularly described as:
Point of beginning will be 33 feet North of the South quarter corner of

along the west line of said Section 7 due north 113.04 feet to the point

E.This zoning approval is valid for an indefinite period of time or until
such time as the parcels are subsequently reclassified by the City.
SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portion thereof.
