AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION CITY CODE BY
AMENDING SECTION 13-2-5,ASSIGNMENT OF STREET NAMES AND PARCEL
ADDRESSES,BY AMENDING THAT CERTAIN MAP ADOPTED BY REFERENCE
ENTITLED "OFFICIAL STREET NAMING MAP OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA"BY
PROVIDING FOR THE NAMING OF "OLD WEST HIGHWAY";REPEALING ANY
CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
The official name of the roadway formerly known as U.S.60 between Idaho Road and
Goldfield Road within the municipal limits of the City of Apache Junction shall
be renamed to be "Old West Highway";further,the map entitled "Official Street
Naming Map of Apache Junction,Arizona"is hereby amended to so conform.
SECTION I I REPEALING OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
All ordinances and parts of ordinances and/or provisions of the Apache Junction
City Code which are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance,or any
part of the code adopted herein by reference,are hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,sub -section,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance or any part of the Code adopted herein by reference is,for any reason,
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portion thereof.

ARIZONA,THIS 5 TH DAY OF JANUARY ,1993.
