AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION CITY CODE CHAPTER 4
FEES,ARTICLE 4-3 ANIMAL CONTROL FEE SCHEDULE SECTIONS A & B;
REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
That the Apache Junction City Code Chapter 4 Fees be amended to include the
following provisions:Article 4-3 Animal Control Fee Schedule Section A
provide no fee"for Service Animals;and Section B provide term of license
and license fees for Potbellied Pigs the same as Dogs,to read as follows:
Article 4-3 ANIMAL CONTROL FEE SCHEDULE
A.License Fees (Dogs)
(License shall be valid for 12 consecutive months from month of issue.)
1.Sterilized $7.00 per dog
2.Non -sterilized $12.00 per dog
3.Late fee $3.00 per dog
4.Service Animal $No fee
B.License Fees (Potbellied Pigs)
(License shall be valid for 12 consecutive months from month of issue.)
1.Sterilized $7.00 per pig
2.Non -sterilized $12.00 per pig
3.Late fee $3.00 per pig

SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
If any section,subsection,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance,or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction,such decisions shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
