CODE VOLUME I, CHAPTER FEES, 7 RTICLE 4 "7 PUBLf
]�A—FETY FEE SCHEDULE; REPEALING——NY REPEALING -T—NY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS;
AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Arizona Reprised Statutes Titles 9 and.
SS, cities and towns are authorized to charge for various public
safety services; and
WHEREAS, the mayor and city council have over time amended
the public safety fee schedule (Ordinance No. 1:263 April 4,
2006, Ordinance No. 1333 - January 20 2009 and Ordinance No. 1425
January 17, 201"7) and
WHEREAS, police ice staff recommends certain fee increases and
new fees based on comparisons its Ratner agencies and changes in
public records reddest laws; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to council direction to staff and. A.R.S.
9-499.15, staff provided a gala notice of intent to amend the
fee schedule and pasted it on the city` s we si e, and
WHEREAS, on August 6, 2024, a public Dearing was field can the
amendments.
W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARI ON , 1S FOLLOWS:

SECTION II REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance or in conflict with any part of the
code adopted herein by reference are also hereby repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
If any section, subsection, sentence, phrase, clause or portion of
this ordinance, or any part of the code adopted herein by
reference is for any reason field to be invalid, pre-empted or
unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent
jurisdiction, such decisions shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
