CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION
ADOPTED BUDGET FOR THE
Fiscal Year 1979-80
WHEREAS, in accordance With the provisions of Title 42, Sections 302,
303, and 304, A.R.S., the City Council did, on the 11th day of July, 1979,
make an estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public exp-
enses for the ensuing year, also an estimate of receipts from sources other
than direct taxation, by the City of Apache Junction, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said sections of said Code and following
due public notice, the Council met on 1st day of August, 1979, at which
meeting any taxpayer was priviledged to appear and be heard in favor of or
against any of the proposed expenditures or tax levies, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the sums to be raised by taxation, as spec-
ified therein, do not in the aggregate, exceed ten percent greater than
the sums levied for all purposes during the previous year, after excluding
expenditures for emergency authorizations, and other expenditures exempt
from the ten per cent:limitation, therefore be it.
RESOLVED, that the said estimates of revenue and expenditures shown
on the accompanying Exhibits as now establishing the base budget and the
same are hereby adopted as the budget of the City of Apache Junction for
the fiscal year 1979-80.
