HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES79-13RESOLUTION NO,179-13 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ADOPTING AND SUPPORTING A LOCATION FOR A HOSPITAL WHICH WILL SERVE THE RESIDENTS OF APACHE JUNCTION. WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction and the surrounding community have been experiencing a rapid growth in both permanent res- idents and winter visitors during the past several years,and WHEREAS,it is anticipated that said rapid growth will continue in the future,and WHEREAS,a health care resource should be located so as to afford the greatest availability and accessibility to the residents it will serve,and WHEREAS,an appropriately sized hospital and medical facility close to or within the City limits would benefit the residents of Apache Junction. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council .adopts and supports the proposal to the Central Arizona Health Systems Agency for the location of an appropriately sized hospital and medical facility within or as close to the City limits as possible. FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be and he is hereby instructed to communicate this Resolution to the Central Arizona Health Systems Agency. DATED this 14th day of March,1979.
