RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION OF SERV!CES PERFORMED FOR THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA BY ROY HUDSON.
WHEREAS The City of Apache Junction was incorporated on the twenty-fourth
day of November, nineteen hundred and seventy-eight; and
WHEREAS Roy Hudson served the City as its Mayor from its incorporation
until, May thirtieth, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine; and
WHEREAS Mr.Hudson has worked tirelessly to assure that the newly
incorporated City will be prepared to take over its full municipal functions by the first
day of July, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine, as required by statutes; and
WHEREAS Mr.Hudson continues today to give generously of his time and to
lend his efforts and abilities to the City and the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Apache Junction expresses its warm appreciation and sincere thanks to Mr. Hudson for -
his devoted service and tireless efforts on behalf of the City extends its best wishes to
Mr. Hudson in all his endeavors for years to come.
