A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE A PROJECT
APPLICATION FOR •STATE AID IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,000 TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR
THE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN AND SITE SELECTION STUDY;AND FURTHER DESIGNATING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE IN CONNECTION WITH
SAID APPLICATION.
WHEREAS,i t is in the public interest to complete an Airport Master
Plan and Site Selection Study for the City of Apache Junction;and
WHEREAS,the Study shall be prepared at a cost of $60,000;and
WHEREAS,the maximum cost to the City shall not exceed $6,000, with
the remaining $54,000 proposed to be funded with State funds through the
Arizona Department of Transportation (for State Aid for Development of
Public Airports).
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Apache Junction that the City Manager of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona be and is authorized,empowered,and directed to file a project
application for State aid of $54,000 for said Study and act as Official
Representative in connection with this application.
