HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 80-21RESOLUTION NO.80-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, FINALLY ADOPTING ESTIMATES OF PROPOSED EXPENDITURES BY THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1980, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1981; DECLARING THAT SUCH SHALL CONSTITUTE THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FOR SUCH FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Title 42 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, the City Council did, on the 4th day of June 1980, make tentative estimates of the amount required to meet the public expenses for the ensuing year and of receipts from sources other than direct taxation by the City of Apache Junction; and WHEREAS, due notice has been given by the City Clerk, as required by law, that said tentative budget is on file and open to inspection by anyone interested; and WHEREAS, in accordance with said provisions of the State Statutes and following due public notice, the City Council met on the 2nd day of July 1980, at which meeting any taxpayer was priviledged to appear and be heard in favor or against any of the proposed expenditures; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I That the estimates of revenues and expenditures shown on attached exhibits to Resolution 80-16 now establish the finally adopted estimates of proposed expenditures by the City of Apache Junction for fiscal year beginning July 1, 1980 and ending June 30, 1981 and declare that such shall constitute the budget of the City of Apache Junction for such fiscal year.
