A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, CHANGING THE SPEED LIMIT ON
TOMAHAWK ROAD, FROM U.S. 60 TO SOUTHERN AVENUE, WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to insure safe,
effective and efficient traffic flow along public rights-
of -ways within the City limits of Apache Junction, Arizona.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction that the speed limit shall
be 35 MPH from U.S. 60 south along Tomahawk Road to Southern
Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works
is empowered and directed to initiate appropriate action
to change the speed limit signs on the street listed
above.
PASSED this 17th day of September 1980, by
the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona.
