A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA SETTING
FORTH REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance 38 requires improvements
within the street rights -of -way, and
WHEREAS, sidewalks are an integral part of the
roadway improvements, and
WHEREAS, the community has expressed a desire for
sidewalks for convenience and safety, and
WHEREAS, delaying or phasing sidewalk construction
may create an additional administrative burden upon the city,
THEREFORE NOW BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Apache
Junction, Arizona that all sidewalks be constructed with initial
improvements as required by the City Engineer, prior to acceptance
of the streets for city maintenance.
PASSED this 4th day of November
1981 by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona.
