WHEREAS the Primary Election for City Councilmembers for Apache Junction
was held on March 24,1981;and
WHEREAS a Special Meeting of the City Council was held on March 30,1981,
pursuant to law,for the purpose of canvassing the returns of said election;
and
WHEREAS the City Council did canvass the election returns at said Special
Meeting and did determine the official results of the election,
NOW THEREFORE be i t resolved:
That the City Council declares the official returns of the Primary Election
for City Councilmembers of the City of Apache Junction be as follows:
1.The number of ballots cast i n Precinct 22A:1379
The number of ballots cast i n Precinct 22B:1481
2.The number of ballots rejected i n Precinct 22A:4
The number of ballots rejected i n Precinct 22B:16 (7 Question Ballots
9 Spoiled Ballots)
3.The number of votes cast for each candidate is:

Further resolved that the City Clerk be and she i s hereby directed to issue
the certificates of nomination as provided by law,notifying those persons

held May 19,1981.
