A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT
O N BROADWAY AVENUE,BETWEEN TOMAHAWK
AND GOLDFIELD ROADS.
WHEREAS,it is i n the public interest t o
insure safe,effective and efficient traffic flow along
public rights -of -way within the city limits of Apache
Junction,Arizona.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor
and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,that
the speed limit shall be 35 m.p.h.on Broadway Avenue,
from Tomahawk Road to Goldfield Road,be established.
B E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works is empowered and directed to initiate
appropriate action to install the speed limit signs
o n the referenced street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July ,1982,
by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona.
