A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING THAT CERTAIN FEDERALLY
PATENTED EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES ON EAST
CHOLLA STREET,NORTH BOWMAN ROAD,AND NORTH CONESTOGA ROAD
ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC USE AS ROADWAYS AND ARE
HEREBY ABANDONED AND EXTINGUISHED AS PRESENT OR FUTURE PUBLIC
RIGHTS -OF -WAY.
WHEREAS,Clem and Frances Snarr,Sebert and Ruth Armsby,Russell
McClafflin,Joe and Jewel Peasley,Frank and Agnese Kendall,Esther
Dutton,Barbara and Tamala Galbraith,Kenneth Dibble,and Michael and
Doris Wilde have made application for the abandonment of federally
patented easements on the property described in this resolution;and
WHEREAS,the requested abandonment i s easements for public right-
of-way purposes described as follows:
These parcels of land all located i n Section 22,Township 1 North,Range
8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,located i n Apache Junction,
Pinal County,Arizona;more particularly described as follow:
Parcel No.I
The north 33 feet of the South 1 of the Northeast A of the Northeast
of the Northwest / ,EXCEPT the east 40 feet thereof.
Parcel No.2
The south 33 feet of the North 1 of the Northeast of the Northeast
A of the Northwest 1-,EXCEPT the east 40 feet thereof.
Parcel No.3
The north 33 feet of the South 1 of the East 1 of the Northwest A of
the Northeast 21 of the Northwest If ,EXCEPT the west 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.4
The south 33 feet of the North 1 of the East 1 of the Northwest I of
the Northeast If of the Northwest 1,EXCEPT the west 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.5
The west 33 feet of the East 1 of the Northeast of the Northeast
of the Northwest 1,EXCEPT the south 33 feet,and EXCEPT the north 50
feet thereof.
Parcel No.6
The east 33 feet of the West 1 of the Northeast of the Northeast
of the Northwest If ,EXCEPT the south 33 feet,and EXCEPT the north
feet thereof.

The west 33 feet of the Northeast of the Northeast / of the Northwest
34,EXCEPT the south 33 feet,and EXCEPT the north 50 feet thereof.
Parcel No.8
The east 33 feet of the northwest of the Northeast of the Northwest
I ,EXCEPT the south 33 feet,and EXCEPT the north 50 feet thereof.

WHEREAS,the abandonment requested,i f approved,would not leave
a parcel i n separate ownership without access to an established public
roadway connecting such lands with another public roadway;and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,
finds that the said federally patented easements for public right-of-
way purposes as described herein are classified as local streets on the
Apache Junction Street Classification Plan,and are no longer necessary
for public use as roadways,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that the above -described federally
patented easements reserved for public right-of-way purposes are hereby
abandoned and extinguished as present and future rights -of -way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the abandonment of the public right-
of-way has no effect on reservations for public utility easements.
