A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR,ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA,
DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION,TO ACQUIRE SUPPLIES
AND SERVICES FROM VENDORS AT THE PRICES AND TERMS
CONTAINED IN CONTRACTS BETWEEN THE STATE AND THOSE
VENDORS.
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction i s authorized by the Arizona
Revised Statutes §11 952 to enter into an agreement with other public agencies;
and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction and the State of Arizona desire to
enter into said agreement according to the terms and conditions as set forth in
Arizona Revised Statutes §11-952;and
WHEREAS,participation in the State Purchasing agreement would provide
the City of Apache Junction with qualified bidders for needed supplies and
services;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction that the Mayor be and hereby i s authorized and directed to
enter into an agreement with the State of Arizona,Department of Administration,
to participate i n a cooperative purchasing program for supplies and services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 3RD DAY OF AUGUST ,1982.
