A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,PERMITTING THE REGION V COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
(CAAG)TO RECOVER COMPLETED AND ON -GOING COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SMALL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FY 1982.
WHEREAS,the State of Arizona FY 1982 Nonentitlement Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG)Program Part III,Section D,provides,
at the option of Regional Council,up to $30,000 from the region's
FY 1982 account for planning activities undertaken by the COG;and
WHEREAS,the CAAG Regional Council i n formal session on April 28,
1982,unanimously adopted Agenda Item VI.E,providing for recovery to
CAAG at the rate of 7.5757%of all CDBG funds requested from the
Regional Account for completed and on -going comprehensive planning
activity costs;and
WHEREAS,the city of Apache Junction,Arizona,is applying for
Community Development Block Grant funds,FY 1982;and
WHEREAS,the State of Arizona FY 1982 Nonentitlement Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG)Program,Part III,Section D,provides
that the city of Apache Junction,Arizona,applying to the Regional
Account for CDBG funds,must consent to the incorporation into its
application provisions for the recovery to CAAG of costs associated with
completed and on -going comprehensive planning activities,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,authorizes that the sum of $6,000
(7.5757% of $79,200)be inserted within the CDBG grant application at
the appropriate location on OEPAD Form -2,OEPAD Form -3,and OEPAD Form -4,
and OEPAD Form -9,thereby permitting CAAG cost recovery.

JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 18TH DAY OF MAY ,1982.
