A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS THROUGH
THE CITY MANAGER TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF STREET
LIGHTS WITHIN A PORTION OF THE SUBDIVISIONS KNOWN AS
APACHE VILLA THREE,APACHE VILLA FOUR,AND CLEARVIEW
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council on April 20,1982,
did pass Resolution of Intention No.82-16,declaring the
intention of the City to purchase electricity including a
charge for the use of lighting facilities,for lighting
South Palo Verde within an area described as Apache Villa
Three,Lots 141-172,Apache Villa Four,Lots 1-15,and
Clearview,Lots 1-22;and
WHEREAS,the cost of the lighting is to be assessed
on a certain district,known as the Apache Junction Improve-
ment District SL No.8203-1;and
WHEREAS,Resolution No.82-16 was published and posted
pursuant to A.R.S.Sec.9-675;and
WHEREAS,the time period allowed for protests pursuant
to A.R.S.Sec.9-676 expired on May 29,1982;and
WHEREAS,the protests received are insufficient t o
bar further proceedings;
NOW THEREFORE,be it resolved by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction,that the Director of Public
Works be empowered and directed to proceed with the improve-
ments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Apache Junction,Arizona,this 1st day of
June 2 1982.
