A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT
ON PHELPS DRIVE,BETWEEN BROADWAY AVENUE
AND HIGHWAY 60.
WHEREAS,i t i s i n the public interest to
insure safe,effective and efficient traffic flow along
public rights -of -way within the city limits of Apache
Junction,Arizona.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor
and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,that
the speed limit shall be 30 m.p.h.on Phelps Drive,
from Broadway to Highway 60.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works is empowered and directed to initiate
appropriate action to install the speed limit signs
o n the referenced street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June ,1982,
by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache
Junction,Arizona.
