A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,
ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT ON 16TH AVENUE,
BETWEEN SAN MARCOS DRIVE AND IRONWOOD DRIVE.
WHEREAS,it is in the public interest to insure
safe,effective and efficient traffic flow along public
rights -of -way within the city limits of Apache Junction,
Arizona,
NOW THEREFORE,B E IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
City Council of the City of Apache Junction,that the
speed limit shall be 35 m.p.h.on 16th Avenue,from
San Marcos Drive t o Ironwood Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works is empowered and directed to initiate
appropriate action to install the speed limit signs on
the referenced street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June , 1982,
by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona.
