AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE APACHE JUNCTION CITY
CODE,VOL.I,CHAPTER 4 FEES,BY ADDING ARTICLE 4-4
PLANNING,ZONING REVIEW,AND SUBDIVISION FEES;AND ARTICLE
4-5 SPECIAL SIGN PERMIT FEES;REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING
PROVISIONS AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
That the Apache Junction City Code,Vol.I,Chapter 4 Fees be amended by
adding a new Article 4-4 entitled Planning,Zoning Review,and Subdivision
Fees to establish new fees for administrative,zoning,subdivision &land
splits,applications and permits:and by adding a new Article 4-5 entitled
Special Sign Permit Fees to read as follows:
A.CHAPTER 4 FEES,ARTICLE 4-4 PLANNING,ZONING REVIEW,AND SUBDIVISION FEES
is added to read:
A.Planning and Zoning Review Fees
1.Conditional Use Permit $400
2.Conditional Use Permit Amendment $400
3.Conditional Use Permit Extension $400
4.Conditional Use Permit Continuance $125
5.Review and Letter of Non -conforming Use $200
6.Appeal/Zoning Administration Decision $ 90
7.Appeal/Development Fee Administrator $250
8.Variance for Single Family Dwelling $175
9.Variance for Commercial,Multi -family $275
or Industrial
10.Continuance of Variance Case by Applicant $125
11.Verification of Zoning or Compliance Letter $75

SECTION I I REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance or any part of the code adopted herein by reference are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
I f any section,subsection,sentence,phrase,clause or portion of this
ordinance,or any part of the code adopted herein by reference is for any
reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction,such decisions shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
