A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING THAT THOSE
CERTAIN FEDERALLY PATENTED EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC RIGHTS-
OF -WAY PURPOSES ON EAST 18TH AVENUE,EAST 20TH AVENUE,
SOUTH CHAPARRAL ROAD,SOUTH BOWMAN ROAD AND SOUTH
CONESTOGA ROAD ARE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC USE
AS ROADWAYS AND ARE HEREBY ABANDONED AND EXTINGUISHED
AS PRESENT OR FUTURE PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY.
WHEREAS,Michael Bifano,Sr.,John Derian,and Joe
Sandelbach have made application for the abandonment of certain federally
patented easements on the property described i n this resolution;and
WHEREAS,the requested abandonments are easements for public right-
of-way purposes described as these parcels of land all located i n Section
27,Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
located i n Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona,more particularly
described as follows:
Parcel No.1
The north 33 feet of the East 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast
4 of the Southwest 4;EXCEPT that portion i n the U.S.Highway 60
right-of-way.
Parcel No.2
The south 33 feet of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 4 of the Northeast
4 of the Southwest 4;EXCEPT that portion i n the U.S.Highway 60
right-of-way.
Parcel No.3
The south 33 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 4 of the
Southwest 4;EXCEPT the east 33 feet,andEXCEPT the west 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.4
The north 33 feet of the Northwest 4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest
1/4;EXCEPT the east 33 feet,and'EXCEPT the west 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.5
The west 33 feet of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 4 of the Southeast
4 of the Southwest 4;EXCEPT the north 33 feet, and EXCEPT the south
33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.6
The east 33 feet of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 4 of the Southeast 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4;EXCEPT the north 33 feet,and EXCEPT the south
33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.7
The west 33 feet of the Northeast 4 of the Southeast 4 of the Southwest
4;EXCEPT the north 33 feet,and EXCEPT the south 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.8
The east 33 feet of the Northwest 4 of the Southeast 4 of the Southwest
14;EXCEPT the north 33 feet,and EXCEPT the south 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.9
The west 33 feet of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 4
of the Southwest 4;EXCEPT the south 33 feet thereof.

The east 33 feet of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast
i of the Southwest 1/4;EXCEPT the south 33 feet thereof.
Parcel No.11
The west 33 feet of the East 1/2 of the West ½ of the Northeast 1/4
of the Southwest 4;EXCEPT for that portion North of the South right-
of-way line of U.S.Highway 60.
Parcel No.12
The east 33 feet of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 14 of
the Southwest 1/4;EXCEPT for that portion North of the South right-of-
way line of U.S.Highway 60.
WHEREAS,the abandonment requested,i f approved,would not leave a
parcel i n separate ownership without access to an established public roadway
connecting such lands with another public roadway;or have access by a
federally patented easement which may be developed,and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,
finds that the said federally patented easements for public right-of-way
purposes as described herein are classified as local and one collector street
on the Apache Junction Street Classification Plan,and are no longer necessary
for public use as roadways;and
WHEREAS,these said easements requested for abandonment have never
been improved and maintained by a local governing agency;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that the above -described federally patented
easements reserved for public rights -of -way purposes are hereby abandoned
and extinguished as present and future rights -of -way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the abandonment of the public rights-
of -way has no effect on reservations for public utility easements.
