A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING A REGULAR PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
MARCH 22,1983;ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES AND VOTING
DISTRICTS;PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION OF THE ELECTORS'
CHOICE;AND PROVIDING FOR ELECTION OFFICIALS.
WHEREAS,Arizona Revised Statutes §16-201 provides for the holding
of a Primary Election for the nomination of candidates for the office of City
of ,Apache Junction council members;and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 DESIGNATION OF ELECTION DATES
That the Primary Election for the City of Apache Junction be held and conducted
on Tuesday,March 22,1983.
SECTION 2 DESIGNATION OF POLLING PLACES AND VOTING DISTRICTS
That Pinal and Maricopa County precincts be used and that voters residing i n Pinal
County Precincts 22A and 22B and Maricopa County Precinct Apache shall vote
at Superstition Mountain Elementary School,Ironwood Drive and Broadway
Avenue,Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona;and that voters residing i n
Pinal County Precinct 22C shall vote at Apache Junction Junior High School,
Southern Avenue and San Marcos Drive,Pinal County,Apache Junction,Arizona;
and that voters residing i n Pinal County Precincts 22D and 22E shall vote at
Community Christian Church,Superstition Blvd.and Valley Road,Pinal County,
Apache Junction,Arizona.
The polls shall be open on said date of the Primary Election from 6:00 a.m.
until 7:00 p.m.
SECTION 3 DESIGNATION OF ELECTION OFFICIALS
The following officers will be appointed to conduct the Primary Election on
March 22,1983,for Pinal County Precincts 22A and 22B and Maricopa County
Precinct Apache:
One Inspector
Two Judges
Two Clerks
One Marshal
The following officers will be appointed to conduct the Primary Election on
March 22,1983,for Pinal County Precinct 22C:
One Inspector
Two Judges
Two Clerks
One Marshal
The following officers will be appointed to conduct the Primary Election on
March 22,1983,for Pinal County Precincts 22D and 22E:
One Inspector
Two Judges
Two Clerks
One Marshal
I f any member should fail to appear,the City Clerk shall appoint a qualified
substitute.

SECTION 4 RECORDATION OF THE ELECTORS'CHOICE
Voting shall be by paper ballot.The City Clerk i s hereby authorized and
directed to cause the printing of paper ballots as set forth i n Title 16
of the Arizona Revised Statutes.

APACHE JUNCTION,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,THIS 1ST DAY OF

ELECCIONES PRIMARIAS CELEBRARSE EL 22 .,DE MARZO DE
1983;ESTABLECIENDO LUGARES DE VOTACION Y DISTRITOS
ELECJORALES;PROVEYENDO A LA FORMA EN QUE LOS ELECTORES
DARAN SU VOTO;Y PROVEYENDO A LOS FUNCIONARIOS
ENCARGADOS DE LAS ELECCIONES.
POR CUANTO,el Estatuto Revisado del Estado de Arizona §16-201
provee a tener las elecciones primarias para la nominacin de candidatos
para el cargo de concejal de la ciudad de Apache Junction;y
POR TANTO HA SIDO DISPUESTO POR EL ALCALDE Y EL CONCEJO MUNICIPAL
DE LA CIUDAD DE APACHE JUNCTION,CONDADOS DE PINAL Y MARICOPA,ARIZONA,LO
SIGUIENTE:
SECCION I DESIGNACIA DEL DiA DE LAS ELECCIONES
Que las elecciones primarias de la ciudad de Apache Junction se celebren el
Martes 22 de Marzo de 1983.
SECCIONI• I DESIGNACION DE LOS LUGARES DE VOTACIA Y LOS DISTRITOS ELECTORALES
Que los distritos electorales de los condados de Pinal y Maricopa se utlicen
y que los votantes que residen en los distritos electorales 22A 6 22B del
condado de Pinal y el distrito electoral Apache del condado de Maricopa
votargne• n l a escuela primaria Superstition Mountain,al cruce de Ironwood
Drive y Broadway Avenue,Apache Junction,Condado de Pinal,Arizona;y que
los votantes que residen en el distrito electroal 22C del condado de Pinal
votaran en Apache Junction Junior High School,al cruce de Southern Avenue
y San Marcos Drive,Condado de Pinal,Arizona;y que los votantes que residen
en los distritos electorales 22D 6 22E del condado de Pinal votargh el la
iglesia Community Christian,al cruce de Superstition Boulevard y Valley
Road,condado de Pinal,Apache Junction,Arizona.
Los lugares de votaciccn estargn abiertos el dia seWalado para las elecciones
primarias desde las 6:00 a.m.hasta las 7:00 p.m.
SECCIAI• II NOMBRAMIENTO DE LOS FUNCIONARIOS ENCARGADOS DE LAS ELECCIONES
Seran nombrados los siguientes funcionarios para conducir las elecctiones
Primarias el 22 de Marzo de 1983,para los distritos electorales 22A y 22B
del condado de Pinal y para el distrito electoral Apache del condado de
Maricopa:
un inspector
dos jueces
dos secretarios
un oficial de las elecciones
Ser i nombrados los siguientes funcionarios para conducir las eleccions
Primarias el 22 de Marzo de 1983,para el distrito electoral 22C del
condado de Pinal:
un inspector
dos jueces
dos secretarios
un oficial de las elecciones
Seran nombrados los siguientes funcionarios para conducir las elecciones

Si alguno de los funcionario no comparece a desempdriar su trabajo,l a
secretaria municipal nombrara a un sustituto calificado.

La votaclon se har(por medio de boletas.La secretaria municipal por medio
de la presente queda autorizada para,,ordenar l a impresiOn de las boletas de
acuerdo con l a forma fijada en el Titulo 16 de los Estatutos Revisados del
Estado de Arizona.
