A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD THAT
CERTAIN PUBLICATION FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK AND ENTITLED
CODE FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION IN NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION,
SECOND PRINTING,WHICH,IF ENACTED BY SAID CITY COUNCIL,WILL
BE ADOPTED AS REGULATION FOR DESIGN OF BUILDING ENVELOPES FOR
ADEQUATE THERMAL RESISTANCE AND LOW AIR LEAKAGE AND THE
DESIGN AND SELECTION OF MECHANICAL,ELECTRICAL,AND ILLUMINA-
TION SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT WHICH WILL ENABLE THE EFFECTIVE USE
OF ENERGY IN NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
That certain publication being proposed as an ordinance which
i s entitled Code For Energy Conservation In New Building Construction,
Second Printing,as jointly prepared by Building Officials and Code
Administrators International,Inc.,International Conference of Building
Officials and Southern Building Code Congress International,Inc.,con-
sisting of a Title Page,Disclaimer,Foreward,one page Table of Contents
and Sections 1 through 7,Figures 1 through 7,and Appendix,with pages
numbering i through viii and 1 through 76,three (3)copies of which are
on -rile i n the office of the City Clerk of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,i s hereby declared to be public record,and said copies are to
remain on file with said City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 20TH DAY OF DECEMBER ,1983.
